Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the team responsible for designing, planning, and maintaining the global AWS infrastructure.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Master's degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred
• Experience building complex software systems
• Experience with full software development life cycle

Responsibilities

• Gathering requirements, choosing technologies, designing features, coding, and reviewing software
• Deploying software globally and maintaining services
• Contributing to every phase of the development process
• Mentoring and guiding junior engineers
• Identifying and implementing optimizations for performance and scalability
