Systems Safety Engineer, Hardware Safety & Compliance

Job Description

Amazon Lab126 is seeking a Systems Safety Engineer to work on innovative Consumer Electronics products, ensuring customer safety and satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3-5 years of industry experience in system-level design, sustaining, or validation
• Deep knowledge of system integration, circuit design, failure analysis, and debug
• Experience with off-shore contract manufacturers
• Solid circuit, failure, and system analysis skills

Responsibilities

• Drive failure & forensics analysis at the component and system level
• Contribute to failure mode & effects analysis and multiple fault testing
• Communicate issues, root cause & corrective action status at various levels within the company
• Develop automated test tools to improve data and design analysis
