Job Description

Amazon Robotics is looking for a Software Engineer to join their team in the Greater Boston Area or the Greater Seattle Area. The role involves developing software solutions using cutting edge advances in robotics and software to solve real-world challenges.

Requirements

• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#
• Bachelor's degree in computer science related fields OR 1+ years equivalent experience in software development
• Proficient oral and written communication skills
• Interest in Robotics including coursework or clubs

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop software solutions to current business problems
• Create milestones and deliverables with the team
• Participate in daily scrums and reviews with development teams
• Write code, unit tests, and integrate code with other software and hardware components
• Prototype and test concepts or features using simulation tools and live robotic equipment
• Work directly with customers to test software prototypes and incorporate feedback
